DEPENDABILITY

All MAX VAC® Vacuum Pneumatic Conveying Systems are low maintenance, easy to use and exceptionally reliable.
  • Routine upkeep is minimal compared to costly and time-consuming repairs that are frequently needed with competitor industrial vacuums and pneumatic conveyors.
  • Simplicity of design. Minimal moving parts and no multiple complex internal compartments and compartment valves avoid mechanical breakdowns and plug-ups.
  • Designed and constructed for continuous heavy-duty use. We guarantee our MAX VAC® to be the most dependable industrial vacuuming and pneumatic conveying systems on the market.
  • Superior material separation and filtration circuit features our exclusive MAXcartridge Filters™ and SILENCER BASE® Muffler. We do not use the insufficient tubular filter bag-type system.

(A) THE EXCLUSIVE MAX VAC® SEPARATION AND SOUND ATTENUATION CIRCUIT*

The MAX VAC® Laterally Offset Cyclonic Separation Circuit extends the life of the MAXcartridge Filters™ by providing:
  • Minimal material carryover to the filtration compartment.
  • Minimal material contact with the MAXcartridge Filters™.
  • Automatic reverse air-pulse cleaning of each MAXcartridge Filter™ allows for continuous vacuuming without vacuum shutdown.

code key:     A=Filters B=Filter Compartment C=Material Separator
  • View of the MAX VAC® separation and filtration circuit (view from under the vacuum's separation system)
  • The separator is laterally offset from the filter compartment
  • There is very minimal dust carryover and loading to filters
  • MAXcartridge Filter™ life is greatly extended due to the laterally offset separator design
  • No obstructions below MAXcartridge Filters™ provides for no surfaces for material build - up, easy MAXcartridge Filter™ access, and low filter housing stack velocity

  • The separators are located under filter compartment
  • High dust velocities and carry-over to filters directly above result in high workload and wear on the filters; resulting in high maintenance costs.

(C) THE MAX VAC® SEPARATION SYSTEM UTILIZING MAXcartridge Filters™

The MAX VAC® Separation System is the key to our unequalled success and superiority in the industrial vacuuming market. Our MAX VAC® Vacuums are designed so that bulk solid materials and micron size particulates are substantially separated and removed before the airflow reaches the MAXcartridge Filters™. Intermittent and sequential reverse-pulse compressed air continuously cleans each MAXcartridge Filter™ during the vacuuming operation. This process ensures a longer work life for the MAXcartridge Filters™, which ultimately results in uninterrupted duty and very low operating expenses. Our system does not utilize insufficient tubular filter bags with cages that provide high air-to-cloth ratios or bag shaking mechanisms, both of which are prone to high maintenance and labor costs.

(D) MAXcartridge Filter™ FEATURES
  • industrial hepa vacuumDesigned with a smooth, nonstick surface that provides near H.E.P.A. filtration efficiency, 99.95% of .33 micron. H.E.P.A. filtration post stage can be added to any MAX VAC® Vacuum System.
  • Near zero emissions that meet or exceed all emission standards.
  • Continuous operation at lower equipment pressure drops provides increased airflow resulting in greater vacuuming pickup and production rates, as well as extended filter life.
  • Substantially extends vacuum pump life.
  • Washable and reusable.
  • Option: MAXcartridge High-Temp Filter™ is able to operate in extreme temperature applications. Other features available for the toughest applications.
  • MAXcartridge Filters™ are easily replaced in minutes compared to time-consuming multi-bag filter unit changes with other industrial vacuums.

(E) ADVANTAGES OF MAXcartridge Filters™ VERSUS ROUND BAG-TYPE FILTERS

  • A MAXcartridge Filter™ system with a surface area equal to a round filter bag-type system requires a filtration housing a fraction of the size of a bag-type filter housing.
  • The same filter housing size will result in much higher filter media surface area (approximately 5 times) when using MAXcartridge Filters™ versus round tube/bag-type filters.
  • The standard MAXcartridge Filters™ are the latest pleated design technology, strong, washable, long life, spun bond polyester integrated with a steel interior support frame and end caps. MAXcartridge Filters™ can be replaced within 10 minutes. They can be accessed from the top or bottom of the MAX VAC® Vacuum System.
  • Each of the numerous bag type filters has a separate cage that holds a bag type filter in place. Each cage needs to be manually removed, the bag removed, and the new bag pulled over the cage. Filter replacement time typically ranges from 2 to 4 hours.
  • Bag-type filters are often supplied with shaking mechanisms to clear the filter media. The vacuum must shut down during system shaking.
  • MAXcartridge Filters™ do not need separate filter cages. Bag-type filter cages rust over time and need replacement. Furthermore, used cages often develop burrs and sharp edges that can cause premature filter failure.
  • MAXcartridge Filters™ have been successfully proven over the last 15 years on the toughest materials, including frit, aluminum oxide, carbon black, chromium oxide, coal, lime, silica and zircon sand, and many more.

Photo 4.2

  • The Silencer Base® Muffler is a standard component used on all MAX VAC® Vacuums or can be purchased separately.
  • It reduces sound by an average of 10 dBa quieter than other positive displacement silencers.
  • This significant reduction in noise levels provides for a more productive work environment for your business.
  • Our powerful positive displacement vacuum pumps can operate at a sound level range of 85 dBa or less @ 1 meter freefield.
  • Substantially reduces the sound level of engine-driven units.
  • Able to meet specified noise level requirements without utilizing expensive enclosures.
